Selim Makryat is one of the most feared heads of the Istambul underworld in 1893. His network extends into many areas, from contraband and slavery to forgeries, extorsion and murder. He is a serious man, humorless and unflinching. He is known to practice the dark arts, leading a cult known as the Brothers of the Skin.
